All development of assets and programming took place during the time of the competition. I edited some stock photos to work with the Game Boy I got from Picsart, and an image from 1966's The Good The Bad and The Ugly. I'm claiming fair use/parody law on that one. But I don't think anyone really cares. This is just for fun.
Splash Screen by jaredchansen, (I think only a sign post) from GB Studio stock assets/ Chris Maltby. All other art and music were created by me.
Tools I used: GBSTUDIO, Pixel Studio, Tiled, and Milky Tracker.
Thanks to Robert Doman for his tutorials!

It's a fun game - simple graphics and a cool story!
You got something here! Made me laugh a lot and you got some good ideas. Im a sucker for this black/white art and character design. I could not pass the train shootout (because I played on my phone but gonna play it on real hardware). I loved the fact that Its really clear you had fun making this game and its transmitted to the player with the dialog and story.
Awesome! Thank you for the feedback. There's a few parts of the game, mostly the small amount of platforming, that can be hard on mobile. Much easier on a keyboard/ gamepad.
